The Tipsy Jellyfish is owned by long-time Oak Harbor resident, Kathryn Muniz who has enjoyed a long career in the wine industry before fulfilling a life-long dream to open her own wine bar. Kathryn has always wanted to create a space where she can share her love of wine and where locals and visitors can meet, mingle and have a great time.

 

Her experience as a wine buyer, manager and wine specialist for a wine retailer and wine distributor has prepared her well to find the best wines from around the world to share with you at the Tipsy Jellyfish.

 

Wine has opened  the world up for Kathryn. "I have been tasting the world through wine without having left the country. When I open a bottle of French wine, I am immediately transported to France," she says.  Kathryn loves discovering the world behind each bottle of wine, the geography of the area the grapes are grown, the people and the story behind behind the wine. And she loves to share what she has learned.
